Anne-Marie Duff has been an English actress, narrator and writer for over 30 years. Duff made a cameo appearance on TV as a narrator and actress in Trial & Retribution Amongst Women and Aristocrats in the late 1990s. Anne-Marie Duff (born 8 October 1970) is an actor from the UK. Britsih actor. Anne-Marie Duff was born on the 8th of October, 1970. She's an English stage and screen actress. The actress first became famous as Fiona Gallagher during the UK's Shameless series. The Virgin Queen (2006), she played the role of Queen Elizabeth II. The 2015 From Darkness From Darkness featured her as the main character. Duff was in films like Enigma (2001) The Magdalene Sisters Notes on a Scandal (2006) French Film (2008) The Last Station and Nowhere Boy Before I Go to Sleep (2014) as well as Suffragette (2015). Her roles on the screen in Shameless the Virgin Queen Nowhere Boy and Suffragette earned the BAFTA nominations in both the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress categories and she was recognized with an award called the BAFTA Cymru Award for Best Actress for her work in the 2007 television film The History of Mr Polly. Anne-Marie Duff, an award-winning English actor who excels on stage has made her mark performing in theatres and radio films with outstanding flair. Her fame was largely due to her roles in the role of Fiona Gallagher on the British comedy drama show Shameless as well as the role of Queen Elizabeth in The Virgin Queen.
